The Photography Process

Thank you for your interest in scheduling your portrait session at our photography studio! Portrait Creations offers a variety of services and products that will make your photography session a success. The following information will provide you with the steps our studio follows when scheduling a portrait session.

Step 1: How to Schedule Your Appointment. You may schedule your appointment by contacting our studio. Keep in mind, our standard session fee of $40.00 is required to schedule your appointment (Visa, MasterCard, or Debit). If you would like to pay cash or check, you may schedule your appointment at our studio. If you are interested in pricing information before scheduling your session, you may request a price sheet via e-mail (visit our Contact Us Section for an employee e-mail).

Step 2: What to bring to your session. In order to help our clientele select their various clothing options, we suggest visiting our Slideshows and Portrait Galleries for more ideas. Any specialty items, such as, jewelry, baby blankets, favorite toys and stuffed animals, hats & headbands, etc. will all compliment your photographs and should be included in your session!

Step 3: Attend Your Session. There is no payment due the day of your appointment. After your photography session, you will schedule your viewing appointment which is typically scheduled 2 days afterwards or whenever, you are able to attend your session.

Step 4: Your Viewing Appointment. Our studio focuses on providing our customers with fully retouched finished portraits. Your viewing appointment will last one hour; at this time, you will review all of your photographs via digital slideshow on a big screen at our studio, then, you will review all of the retouched photographs and various color options (black and white, color, sepia, and hand color) in 4x6 tangible proofs. After reviewing our various products and packages, you will make your selections, payment, and then, we will ship out your order Priority Mail within 2-4 weeks.

NOTE: Portrait Creations also provides a Payment Plan Option for those needing to space out payments. You will receive your order when the last payment has been received.
